2022 brought with it a whirlwind of change. The midterm elections resulted in a split Congress, and after several tries and different bill names, the Inflation Reduction Act passed introducing a dramatic change to Medicare prescription drug coverage, pricing, and access. Add to that the ongoing public health emergency extending into its third year, rising costs, and coverage changes, the future of healthcare in the United States is anything but clear.

On January 31, 2023, CAHC hosted its 5th annual Price of Good Health Summit exploring what the year will bring in terms of policies around health costs, coverage and prescription drugs with leaders on all sides of the aisle- from the Administration, Congress, and the private sector.
